Choose how you want to use Ticket Validation

Use online sales and entry control together, or bring tickets from an existing seller.

Before you start

Decide where customers will buy tickets and which team will manage entry. You can use entry control independently of ticket sales.

What to do

  1. Choose your sales channel

Use your branded ticket sales page, add checkout to your own website, or connect a custom integration through the API. Choose the approach that matches the website and tools you already use.

  2. Bring your existing tickets

If another seller handles sales, prepare its ticket export for import. In the event’s Tickets tab, New Import lets you add a file and map its columns to the system fields.

  3. Prepare the entry operation

Select the event’s ticket types, assign validators and review the admission window. Enable Offline Validation only if your team needs to scan without internet. Ticket POS is a separate option for issuing tickets on-site.

Keep in mind

Keep ticket sources clear so the team can tell where a ticket came from.

After choosing your setup, create the event and prepare the relevant sales or entry settings before sharing it with your team.
