Import tickets from a CSV file

Choose the source and map your seller’s columns to the ticket fields.

Before you start

Have a CSV export for the correct event and know which source and ticket types it represents. Keep an original copy of the export before making changes.

What to do

  1. Start a new import

Open the event’s Tickets tab and choose New Import. Select your file in Import File and choose its Source. Check that you are working in the intended event before mapping the records.

  2. Map columns and ticket types

In Mapping Columns, match the displayed System Fields to the appropriate CSV Fields. Map Ticket ID, Type, Ticket Holder and E-mail address to the matching columns, and review each ticket-type value. Your seller’s column names can differ; use the mapping controls to connect the correct fields.

  3. Confirm and inspect

Review every mapping, then choose Confirm Import. Back in Tickets, check the file under Imported Files and its record count. Search known ticket IDs, types, sources and emails to confirm the records match the export.

Keep in mind

The import screen warns that missing or mismatched fields can prevent correct ticket validation. Resolve mapping questions before confirming.

Deleting an imported file is irreversible and removes its associated data. Do not delete and reimport a live ticket pool as a troubleshooting shortcut.
