Set ticket types and sales phases

Control what is on sale, how much each release costs and when it advances.

Before you start

Create the event and ticket types first. For multi-day events, decide whether you are configuring an all-day pass or an individual day.

What to do

  1. Select the tickets for sale

Open Online ticket sales, then Pricing. Select the Ticket types for online sale. Types you leave unselected stay available for internal use. For a multi-day event, choose All days or the relevant day before editing.

  2. Add a sales phase

Choose Add phase and set the phase name, start and end dates, price and ticket quantity. Phase names and dates are shared across the selected types; prices and quantities belong to the ticket type you are editing.

  3. Save and publish deliberately

Use Save draft while preparing the release. Review the Pricing and Sales page tabs before publishing. If sales are already published, use Publish changes when the new setup is ready to go live.

Keep in mind

By default, the next phase starts when the current phase ends or that ticket type sells out, whichever happens first.

For published sales, the current sales page stays live while you have unpublished changes. Check the time zone shown beside the schedule.
